Are you really constipated? Start with this quick checklist.
Answer “yes” to having any two of the following symptoms for at least 12 weeks, chances are that you’re constipated.
You have irregular or infrequent bowel movements without any apparent reason
Hard or lumpy stool
You experience cramping, abdominal fullness, bloating or a lack of energy
You have less than 3 bowel movements per week
You strain or have difficulty going
You feel that there is a blockage or an obstruction
Some simple tips to help fight constipation:
- Drink lots of water – 8-10 glasses every day
- Fibre and lots of it
- Omega3s help with bowl movements
- Regular scheduled colonic treatments
